Gravotêxtil is a family-run company specializing in providing dyeing and finishing services for knitwear, as part of the Textile and Clothing Industry.

Founded on March 20, 1984, Gravotêxtil’s main objective was to provide frame engraving services to the textile printing sector.
In 1991, the company completely shifted its business focus, primarily offering knit decolorizing and bleaching services.
Dyeing services, at that time, had a small role but were seen as a future business opportunity.
In 1996, after a strong investment in the technological refurbishment of its industrial park and the recruitment of skilled personnel, the company began to focus primarily on dyeing and finishing services for knits.
In 1997, Gravotêxtil changed its legal status, becoming a public limited company (Sociedade Anónima).
